Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina unveiled the cover of Bangabandhu’s unfinished autobiography translated into Chinese language.
‘This book is important not only for Bangladesh history but also history of the sub-continent’, the premier said at the book cover unveiling program at her official residence Ganabhaban in city on Thursday (January 28).
Putting emphasis on mutual cooperation for poverty alleviation in the region, Sheikh Hasina said, ‘Types of challenges are the same in our region (South Asia). We should jointly overcome these challenges’.
The translator of the book and also former China ambassador to Bangladesh Chai Xi was also present at the ceremony.
Chai Xo said that the earning from the book would be donated to Bangabandhu Memorial Trust.
